The staff and board meet regularly to assess organizational status and outline plans and intended outcomes for future endeavors.
Without hesitation, they participate in professional training, contractor interviews and evaluations, special events and site visits that support the organization’s ability to move forward in its mission.
The Kairos Team possesses the knowledge, experience, but most importantly, the desire to assist with communities’ needs.

Rev. Dr. Kerry A. Hill is the pastor of NCBC and served as a State Delegate for District 26 of the Maryland General Assembly for four years.
His vision and tenacity as it relates to community planning and empowerment, have been instrumental components of Kairos’ success.
Dr. Hill received his Doctorate Degree in Faith-Based Community Development that was the “birthing” of Kairos.
Combining the concepts of family and community preservation with the faith-based characteristics of spirituality,
integrity and steadfastness, Kairos has worked hard to become an active and impacting organization within Prince George’s County.

The Board President, Wiley Jones, military and professional leadership positions total over 40 years. Mr. Jones expertise in quality management, acquisition support and systems design and analysis provides fundamental skills in ensuring excellent community support. Mr. Jones is well versed on strategic planning and workflow analysis. Mr. Jones is an active member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ); and a certified Lead Auditor and active participant in the Quality Management System for a Major Defense Contractor. Mr. Jones has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

The Board Vice President, Tonya Battle, has a 22-year diverse background in management of human and financial resources within the Federal government and community organizations. Mrs. Battle organizational development knowledge allows Kairos to maximize community support with limited resources. Mrs. Battle holds a Bachelor degree in Business.

The Executive Director, Billy Cogman, brings to Kairos over 26 years of senior level experience from the public, private and military sectors.
Mr. Cogman has worked within the nonprofit area for over 20 years and has received various recognitions for his social consciousness and community participation.
He is a former real estate agent and has completed federal, state and organization-sponsored housing, social services and business development courses.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Master’s in Business Administration. Mr. Cogman completed Executive Leadership training with the College of Notre Dame, Baltimore, MD.

The Associate Director, Mr. Harold Davis, brings senior executive level experience and management expertise after over 30 years with Sears Department Stores.
Mr. Davis has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Virginia State University.
